Our quality assurance program ensures adherence to our own high standards, early intervention to potential problems and better utilization of staff resources. It is a combined effort by all levels of management and staff to keep our clients informed on the operational issues pertaining to their facilities before they become problems.
As part of our ongoing mission to change the way the world view cleaning, Cleaning Facility Services has establish a framework to help facility managers access the effectiveness of their cleaning processes using a blend of ATP testing a traditional inspection methods.
Cleaning Facility Services, through its partnership with Avmor uses ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) Based Sanitation Auditing systems to detect and measure ATP on surfaces as a method of ensuring the effectiveness of our contract services. ATP is an enzyme that is present in all living cells, and an ATP monitoring system can detect the amount of organic matter that remains after cleaning any surface. The amount of ATP detected, and where this ATP is detected, indicates areas and items on the site that may need to be re-cleaned, and the possible need for improvement in a facility’s cleaning protocols.
Our Sanitation Auditing begins by first conducting a cleaning audit, determining how the facility is currently being cleaned, what tools and equipment are being used, and testing for cleanliness using ATP testing systems. Based on the results of the audit, Cleaning Facility Services’ cleaning team then makes adjustments to our cleaning processes and products that will help improve cleaning performance.
Our Shining Standard of Clean (SSC) is derived from the ISSA Standard for Measuring the Effectiveness of Cleaning in commercial facilities. As such, our SSC provides our Quality Assurance Manager with a framework and protocol for using ATP meters along with qualitative methods to measure and assess cleaning effectiveness on a periodic and consistent basis.
